Mike Jackson is a retired academic who now lives in Shropshire. He studied Computer Science at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. As part of his working life, Mike was a Professor at the University of Wolverhampton. Mike currently moderates exam papers as part of the BCS Higher Education Qualification. He is a member of the tbe BCS Academic Accreditation Committee.

Mike Jackson - Lake District 2007. This page provides links to the photographs I took in the Lake District in July 2007. My holiday was spent at Centre Parcs Penrith and there are some photographs of the Bird of Prey sessions there. You should see a European Eagle Owl, a Harris Hawk, a Peregrine Falcon, a Kestrel and a Buzzard. There are also pictures of Derwentwater and Ullswater. This page provides links to the photographs I took in Lisbon in October 2005. This took place at the Hotel Altis in Lisbon 19-22 October 2005. My talk was entitled The Rise and Fall of the Search Engine Empire. I was in Lisbon for two days and managed three hours sightseeing. These photos are the result.

I travelled to Nigeria on business in February 2009. ESUT is based in Enugu, the capital city of Enugu State in Nigeria. To get to Enugu I flew to Abuja and then took a local Nigerian flight. All the photographs show pictures taken in Enugu. I recorded some video of this visit. The contents of the page could not be displayed.
