Mike Jackson is a retired academic who now lives in Shropshire. He studied Computer Science at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. This was a holiday spent in County Clare in the West of Ireland. The main base was Cooraclare which was good for visits to the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Close to Cooraclare there was the Loop Head peninsula with the Bridges of Ross. Unfortunately, the dolphins were not in evidence! .
